Course Description:
The LocPrentice Academy will introduce students to the culture, practice, health benefits and art of hairlocking. The course is designed to prepare students to start, maintain, style and repair locs and to establish a legal business as a loctician and salon owner.
Course Objective:
- To learn and understand the fundamentals of Hairlocking
- To understand proper sanitation
- To learn the 10 methods of hairlocking
- To learn about the tools used to create locs
- To be able to perform loc consultations, establishment and care/maintenance
- To start and build a loctician business
Requirements:
Students must be able to commit to the course as described and must be able to legally work in the United States. Previous experience is not necessary. Materials will be provided.
